It is indeed compatible with Windows 8. I appreciate your effort but the compatibility seems hit and miss form what I’ve read I’ve been playing quite well with no issues for the past month, also using CC. If you’re suggesting installing Sims 3, you probably work for EA and are hawking the newer game. Best games of all free you have a bit system, the fix I suggested which, by the way, was explained to me veersion the Microsoft tech who sold me Windows 8 does work.

If you have a bit system, there are more work-arounds which may or may not work.
